Breakfast should be more generous, for a hotel with 4 stars.
Position of hotel,near city center.
This is a clean, well-equipped hotel only a 5-10 minute easy walk from the intercity bus station and main train station. The reception is friendly, English-speaking, and helpful, as is the chamber staff. The rooms have the facilities that one needs. When the a/c stopped working in our standard room, the hotel transferred us to a superior room graciously and quickly; the staff even moved our luggage. The difference in room grades has to do with bathroom cosmetics, jacuzzi-like things in the bathtub, an oriental-style rug over the carpet, and different furniture. The breakfast supplements the usual Italian breads and beverages with juice, fruit, yogurt, and eggs---maybe even more. The hotel is apparently family-owned, which may account for the sense of personal care. We would stay there again and recommend it to friends. It is not a luxurious palace but a very nice hotel, well-located also for sightseeing, and an excellent value.
Overall hotel was just reasonable except the carpets were black with dirt and need urgent cleaning.
The hotel has a very funky, arty entrance with ultra-modernist furniture, art, bric-a-brac, and style. The price was excellent for what we got.
The hotel is on a busy street, which was a little noisy at times, but nothing too bad. The fixtures were a little worn, but that seems to be the Trieste thing.
Hotel in city center, near the railway station and bus station. To a Grande canal for 10 minutes on foot.
View from window to window at home.
Size of the room was excelent and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. Fidge in the room was amazing, as it was extremly hot when we were there. The majority of the staff were very friedly and helful. Breakfast was calm and a variety was offered.
The people from the reception were very nice and helpful
Air conditioning was very noisy and didn't work very well, the design of the room was rather old and unfortunately there was some dust on the furnitures
A very little room and few amenities
A very nice, clean and friendly place to stay with a breakfast choice second to none. I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone.
The hotel is located in the centre of Triest and near the train station. The staff is quite friendly and it's a very clean and quiet place.
The room was very small (room 50)
Good location, clean, helpful desk staff
It's not really an complaint as much as somewhat of an oddity. We stay in lots of hotels, and virtually all of them have doors that are set to a lock position when you leave the room. That is not the case here -- you have to manually lock the door with the key when you leave the room. We realized that the entire first day we were out touring that all of our valuables (computer, passports, extra credit card) were in an unlocked room. Luckily, there was no problem.
Excellent location near the city center and train station; large rooms and bathrooms; varied breakfast; very pleasant, helpful staff.
Only complaint was hard pillows.
It was really close to the location of the event I was attending and at a short walking distance from the centre of the city. The hotel is clean, the hotel staff is very friendly, there is internet in every room and nice common spaces. The price was excellent considering that it includes a simple but nice continental breakfast
Rooms and bathrooms are small, at least in single rooms. It was ok for me but if anyone is looking for big rooms this is not the right place
This is a smallish hotel situated in the streets between the station and the town centre. Our room was quiet and well appointed. Quality of towels and bed linen was good. Reception staff helpful. Hotel provided free internet use. We liked this hotel a lot.
Hotel was advertised as 4 star but this did not seem to be the case. Public rooms were limited. Breakfast provided but no other dining facilities
